Hello, I am Inderjeet Takhar (Indy). I graduated from McMaster University as a Physiotherapist in 2012 and have since opened my own successful multidisciplinary practice; PhysioIT.
With over 10 years experience specializing in Hand Therapy and the Upper Extremity, and 55 additional courses completed since graduation, I truly believe the more you learn the more we can help. My goal is to bridge a gap in the Physiotherapy profession:understanding hands and the beautiful intricacy of how it affects the upper extremity. I love the upper extremity and am excited to help my fellow colleagues learn about this fascinating and highly rewarding field.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a Diploma in General Studies of Social Work from Renison University. I am a passionate, holistic Physiotherapist that believes that education can change this world! I believe that it is essential to consider all three parts of a patient: mental,
emotional and physical health. When combining all three and continuously assessing and reassessing a patient, amazing results occur.
